Why can't I connect?

Here are the usual reasons:

  • You're not connected to the internet Our platform relies on internet connectivity. Please connect to the internet and try again.
  • You're being blocked by a firewall Sometimes our platform can get blocked behind a firewall. If you are stuck behind a firewall you might need to ask your IT department/person to provide some special network configurations to make HiDoq work. See "What can I do if I'm behind a firewall?"
  • You're being blocked by proxy Sometimes our platform can get blocked behind a proxy. If you are stuck behind a proxy you might need to ask your IT department/person to provide some special network configurations to make HiDoq work. See "What can I do if I'm behind a firewall?"
  • You're being blocked by antivirus software Sometimes our platform can get blocked behind antivirus software. If you are being blocked by antivirus software you might need to ask your IT department/person to add an exception which will allow our site (https://hidoq.com.au) through. We do not recommend switching off your antivirus software.

Handy hint

If you're short on time and need a quick and temporary fix, try an internet connection and/or device that you know isn't behind a firewall, proxy or antivirus software. You could try to either:

  • Use your mobile data via a hotspot instead of office WIFI or ethernet connection.
  • Use your phone or iPad instead of your office laptop.
